Playing the Top-Bottom Keno Ticket
The top-bottom keno ticket will work pretty much like your left-right keno ticket. In a left-right keno ticket, you are wagering that winning numbers to be drawn will show up on either the numbers on the left side of the keno ticket or within the numbers on the right side of the keno ticket. You won't be betting on any specific number in a left-right keno ticket. Basically you'll be wagering on 40 numbers, which is half of the total numbers in a keno ticket.
A top-bottom keno ticket is pretty much the same. You also place your stake on 40 numbers when you play a top-bottom keno ticket. The only difference with a left-right keno ticket is that your top-bottom keno ticket places your stakes on either the top 40 numbers on your ticket or the bottom 40 numbers on your keno ticket. You still get paid according to how many numbers you hit.
So what do you do to fill out a top-bottom keno ticket? First, obviously, is that you have to get a keno ticket to fill out. You'll notice that the number grid you'll see on the keno ticket is already divided into two areas that are pretty much even. Now, if you want to make your stake on the first 40 numbers then you you're playing what is known as a top ticket.
Conversely, if your placing stakes on the numbers 41 through 80 this will mean you're playing a bottom ticket. You just have to make up your mind on which part of the keno ticket you'd like to place your stake on.
Next, to start filling things out, write the amount you want to wager on the top right corner of your top-bottom keno ticket. You should've checked with the casino's brochure to figure out what denominations are allowed per bet in their keno game.
The next step in filling out your top-bottom keno ticket is to draw a line all the way through the dividing line between the top and bottom numbers on the ticket. Now, if you're wagering on the top group of numbers (numbers one to 40) then you write a large letter T on the top group of numbers. But if you're wagering no the bottom half you instead write a huge letter B on the bottom group or grid.
